Kristin Everhart, MSN, ARNP has been a Nurse Practitioner specializing in gastroenterology since 2010. She has a special interest in the treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) including Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. She has experience working in a large IBD center in the Des Moines area as well as managing an IBD clinic within the Des Moines VA system from 2010 until 2016. She has a passion for educating patients about their disease as well as medical treatment options and feels individuals should be involved in their own medical decision making. Kristin strives to stay up to date on the latest in research and treatment options for IBD.
In addition to the treatment of IBD, Kristin treats a multitude of other gastrointestinal disease and disorders including Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), chronic constipation and Celiac Disease.
